Business Development Manager (Travel Insurance & Assistance)

About this job

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sustaining and growing the existing corporate portfolio in Travel Insurance & Assistance and Extended Warranty Protection business
  • Develop strategic business plans and drive the implementation of sales and growth strategies with brokers, partners, distributors and intermediaries
  • Manage pipeline of new sales leads & renew business prospect
  • Deliver upsell and cross selling opportunities from new enquiries and existing portfolio
  • Develop new sales channels and maintain strategic relationships with partners
  • Oversee the negotiation & conclusion of contracts with key partners to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct market analysis to position the Company’s business in Travel & Assistance and adjust business development strategies
  • Develop new product or services initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Management or Marketing related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years solid experience in Marketing or Sales role
  • Prior experience in insurance or travel industry-related business development role is highly desirable
  • Business acumen with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
