Job duties:

• Assessment and approval of mortgage loans and commercial banking credit applications
• Demonstrate sound credit decision making ability with respect to income, risk and compliance with credit policy and lending guidelines
• Communicate with frontline and advise on risk mitigation and restructuring of credit terms to maintain good credit quality

Job requirements:

• Degree holder in Business, Accounting & Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years as credit approver of mortgage and SME credit with major commercial/retail banks
• Good knowledge of business needs and practices of SME market
• Familiar with HKMA guidelines covering mortgage and business lending practices
• Good product knowledge covering mortgage, SME loans or trade finance

Candidates with less experience will be considered as “Credit Analyst”
